Claims Management Group - Vice President Summary: Responsible for business development: staffing, management, and profit and loss. The successful candidate should be accomplished in the detailed evaluation and analysis of complex, multiple-issue construction disputes involving delay, impact and inefficiency, including, but not limited to, the evaluation of project delay and impact utilizing a variety of methodologies, the evaluation of labor and equipment productivity losses and impacts, the evaluation of the impact, associated with scope modifications, change conditions, differing site conditions, deficient contract documents, etc. The candidate should have the ability to prepare comprehensive reports, simplified illustrative graphics and a proven track record in the area of oral presentation of conclusions in clear and concise terms.
Experience and Education Preferred: The position requires a minimum of 15 years of construction industry experience at management levels and at least seven years construction claims consulting experience including expert testimony in a variety of forums; solid understanding of MS Office; Primavera (P3) and other project schedule and construction management software; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high energy and strong work ethic; engineering or construction degree, PE a plus, travel required.
Claims Management Group - Senior Claims Consultant Summary: Position reports to vice president. Claims Management Group - Project Consultant Summary: Position reports to vice president and will work as part of a team in the evaluation and analysis of construction claims. Successful candidate will be accomplished in setting up estimates as well as evaluation and analyzing elements of labor production, material quantities and equipment requirements from construction costs and estimates prepared by others.
Experience and Education Preferred: A minimum of five years of construction estimating experience; estimating certification(s) are a plus; a solid understanding of MS office, primavera resource loading and other estimating and claims analysis software; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high energy and strong work ethic; engineering or construction degree; travel required.
Surety Group - Consultants Summary: Guardian Group, Inc. has opportunities for highly qualified individuals for our Surety Group. Positions are available at all Guardian offices. You will report to the the vice president of the Surety Group and will be responsible for performing and providing clients with surety bond claim investigation and analysis.
Experience and Education Preferred: Successful candidate will be experienced construction engineer with history in bid solicitation, project management, estimating, scheduling, and providing litigation support.
Five years of construction related experience; two years construction consulting experience; solid understanding of MS Office, Primavera and other claims analysis software; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high energy and strong work ethic; engineering or construction degree – professional engineer registration a plus; ability to travel as required.
Surety Group - Consulting Engineers Summary: Guardian Group, Inc. has opportunities for highly qualified civil, mechanical and/or electrical engineers with construction management experience.
